Welcome to the Wu group! We are a research group in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley led by Professor Junqiao Wu.

Professor Wu also holds appointments in the Berkeley Nanoscience and Nanoengineering Institute and the Applied Science and Technology Graduate Program at U. C. Berkeley, and the Materials Sciences Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

We explore novel properties and applications of strongly correlated electron materials with reduced dimensions, phase transitions at the nanometer scale, and thermoelectrics and photovoltaics of semiconductor films, nanostructures, interfaces and composites.
