Professor Digby Macdonald Awarded 2015 Ad Augusta Award

The Auckland Grammar School Old Boys Association (OBA) and the School recognizes Professor Digby Macdonald as the recipient of the 2015 Ad Agusta Award for his outstjanding contribution to Academia.

The ‘Ad Augusta’ Awards replace what was previously the ‘Old Boy of the Year’ award, which have been running for around 35 years. The awards are for Old Boys to recognize their fellow Old Boys whom have made an outstanding contribution in their field.

Each year a Committee of Headmaster Tim O’Connor, Sir Ron Carter, Sir John Graham, John Morris (as immediate past Headmaster), Jeff Blackburn (Chairman of the Board of Trustees) and three members of the OBA management committee meet to determine offers of these awards. Typically 2-3 are made each year, in the fields of Academia, Arts, Business, Service and Sport.

Congratulations Professor Macdonald!
