Summer High-School Apprenticeship Research Program (SHARP)
Program Description
Hosted by various laboratories on the UC Berkeley campus, high school students are given the opportunity to do hands-on scientific investigations of various disciplines, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, biology, chemistry, materials science, computation, and geology. . By working with graduate students in these labs, the high school students gain first-hand experience in how science and engineering research is conducted.
