Exploration and Optimization of Vanadium Oxide Electrochemical Capacitors

This research strives to understand the mechanisms responsible for energy storage as well as capacitive degradation in vanadium oxide electrochemical capacitor electrodes.  The capacitance and cycle behavior is currently being studied in various aqueous and nonaqueous half-cell systems as well as symmetric and asymmetric whole-cell assemblies.
